There is nothing more delicious than creating and bathing with your very own, completely natural soap, carefully crafted from olive and coconut oil, enriched with shea butter, honey or beeswax, textured and coloured with herbs and spices and perfumed with pure essential oils.

I am delighted to invite you to my home in the Dordogne where you can learn to make soap, relax by my swimming pool & take time enjoying the beauty of the region and the great local food.

Courses are for a minimum of two people and are charged at £75.00 sterling per person, per day in addition to our standard accommodation rates. Courses are available all year round.but we are beginning to get booked up ! Contact us as soon as possible with your ideal dates and any questions you might have

Three Day Beginners' Course

Day 1. Making cold processed soap.

You will make your own olive oil and coconut soap enriched with shea butter, coloured with natural spices and fragranced with an essential oil blend of your choice. We will also cover swirling and layering and look at the benefits to your skin of specific oil and herbal additives. We will need to wait for approximately 48 hours before cutting this soap.

Day 2: Experimenting with Melt and Pour Soapmaking

Colour, fragrance and decorate your own soap from a ready made glycerine melt and pour base and learn how to have fun with glitter, soap scrolls, petals and embedding.

Day 3:

Cutting, finishing, curing, creative packaging, Making either bath fizzies or bath melts.
